The Croatian cities of Zagreb and Rijeka host from 12 to 25 July the 3rd University European Games 2016, in which participate over 5,000 students from 45 countries and 300 different universities.

All this makes it one of the most expected events for university athletes. The delegation of the Universitat de València goes to the Games with a total of 94 members that represent the institution in nine disciplines: women’s football, judo, karate, swimming, adapted swimming, seven-a-side women’s rugby, men’s rugby, taekwondo and men’s volleyball.

The Universitat de València makes its debut in the Games with the karate and rugby teams (women’s and men’s), which compete between 12 and 14 July. They are followed by the women’s football team that begins the Games on 13 July until 19 July. The men’s volleyball team competes between the 18 and 24 July and the competition is closed with the judo, swimming and adapted swimming teams, between 23 and 25 July.

As on previous university sports occasions, the Physical Education and Sports Service offers live coverage and monitoring of the teams through its social networks (Twitter: @sefuv and www.facebook.com/SEFUV)) in which it provides to all the fans the most immediate information on the results of the teams.
