The Principal of the Universitat de València, Mavi Mestre, will be invested tomorrow, during a solemn ceremony in the Paranymphof La Nau

The Principal of the Universitat de València, Mavi Mestre, will be invested tomorrow Tuesday in the course of a solemn ceremony that takes place in the Paranymph of the historical building La Nau. The act will be attended by the president of the Valencian government, Ximo Puig, and a broad academic, politic and social representation. The ceremony will be broadcasted by MediaUni.
During the ceremony, that begins at 12h, the stick command and the medal of principal will be given. Also distinctive elements of the Office of the Principal and the academic clothes (mortarboard and black clothes).
The last principal, Esteban Morcillo, will take part; also the president of the Valencian government, Ximo Puig; and the principal, Mavi Mestre. The University Choir will interpret the “Veni creator” at the beginning of the season and will end with the traditional “Gaudeamus Igitur”.
